Carlo at a glance
About
- Barolo & Barbaresco wall
- Gilded, intimate dining room
- Cocktails with theatrical flair
- Late‑night, sensual atmosphere
- Inspired by Roman grandeur
Tucked behind a curtain of revered Piedmont bottles, Carlo unfolds like a secret salon of Roman opulence — gold gleams, shadows lean close, and every moment is deliberately theatrical. The room feels equal parts library, boudoir, and temple, where drinks and small plates are served with ceremonious flair. You arrive for a drink and leave carrying a myth.
What to Order
Vitello Tonnato Crostini
Silky slices of veal on crisp bread, an anchovy‑bright tuna cream that balances richness with a whisper of sea-salt tang.
Black Truffle Cacio e Pepe
A decadent twist on the Roman classic — silky pecorino and cracked pepper lifted by ribbons of fragrant black truffle.
Charred Octopus alla Griglia
Tender, smoky octopus finished with lemon oil and caper crumbs for a briny, textural flourish.
